Wash
Hand wash cold, or machine wash on a gentle cycle inside a laundry bag. Use mild detergent and skip the bleach and the long soak — both weaken fibres and fade tones.
Dry
Lay flat or hang to dry in shade. Direct sun can dull pastels and make ceruty feel stiff over time.
Iron
Use low heat and a pressing cloth, especially over a lasercut edge. For viscose, iron while slightly damp for the smoothest finish.
Store
Fold voal squares along their natural creases and keep pashmina rolled or loosely folded to avoid hard lines. A drawer with room means fewer snags.
